Indeed Tom, you do have to laff

Particularly as you claim to be ignoring him

Fantasy Island

One of those late 70s crappy TV Shows, I don't think I watched even one episode of it.

Now then TTS how do you know it was crap if you did not watch it In them days they did not saturate the TV before hand with clips of the shows, You stared to watch it then if you thought it was crap you turned it off.

PeterP

That is what I did, I would watch it for a few minutes and then turn it off

Going back to those times, I liked the Dukes of Hazard and those sorts of programs

We used to leave the United game a few minutes before full time to get home in time to watch the Dukes of Hazard.

For the last 12 months or so, I've been watching late 70s/80s American TV shows which I never saw when they were aired in the UK as I lived elsewhere during that time.

Not to everyone's taste, I admit, but I've watched all of Quincy MD, Trapper John MD, Diagnosis Murder, Barnaby Jones, Cannon, and several others of that kind, and I've really enjoyed them, courtesy of You Tube - until they remove them, as they do. What else is there I can watch of that nature?

I don't like American comedy TV and I've never watched Cheers, Frasier, or whatever else there is, and I've never watched The Simpsons. They're all too banal for me.

P.S: Fantasy Island and Love Boat were crap.
